Havoc Series (Havoc, Chaos, Insanity, Collapse, Devastate) by Xavier Neal

Havoc (Havoc series book 1) Xavier Neal

There is nothing hotter than watching an emotionless badass alpha military man that lives, eats and breathes structure and control's walls come crashing down around him.

This book screams control. For someone like Clint/Slugger/Grim control is the only way he knows how to live....until...well you just have to read it to find out.

If you have ever read an Xavier Neal book you already know that this will be a page turner. The first book in a series that I have no doubt will leave me.....sad, happy, pissed and ultimately satisfied. But, I have read enough of this author to know that she is going to put me through H*LL before giving me that HEA that I so desperately have to have.

Cliffhanger? Do you have to ask?
With book one complete, I settle in my comfy pants and grab the kleenex box for what I'm sure will be one h*ll of a ride.
Buckle up ladies.....~ 5 uncontrollable stars ~ Review by Stacey

Chaos (Havoc series book 2)

Question...do you think there is a possibility that when you yell and scream at your kindle, the characters actually hear you? I mean, if you yell loud enough maybe they can. Another question. Do you think is possible to reach inside of your kindle and b*tch slap someone? Please tell me there is a way because the palm of my right hand has a certain someones name on it. A certain female someone.

This entire book was a slow slide down a cliff with no branch in site to save you. Saw it coming very early on and had to witness it for pages and pages, chapter after chapter.
Most of the time it's the man you are yelling at to get the head out of their ass, not this time. I wanted to strangle that girl.

And then at 87% in cue the craziness that is our very own Xavier Neal. Throwing us for a loop, just enough to think, 'Holy sh*t, NO! There is not enough time in the book to fix this!'

Confused? Read the book and you will totally be cursing and throwing shit just. Like. Me.

Insanity (Havoc series book 3)

Closure. That is what this book gave me. It was an extremely bumpy ride. A scary, sad, exhilarating ride. But one that finally let's you take that much needed breath.

The subject matter was a bit rocky but in the end EVERYTHING ended up the way it was suppose to.

In her usual Xavier Neal fashion, she managed to give us the closer than we needed with Clint and Haven as well as have us longing to know more about everyone else. I have asked Miss. Neal what her secret is, how she pulls the readers in and makes us desperate to make sure everyone gets their happily ever after. She is keeping that little secret to her herself and rightfully so. I don't care how she does it, as long as she KEEPS WRITING.

This was a well needed lighter mix to what I am use to coming from her. But don't worry, she still manages to bring out the tears and make you want to chuck your kindle across the room.

Closure with one couple and tons of questions about the others....exactly the way I like it. ~ 5 stars ~ Review by Stacey

Collapse (Havoc book 4)

Glove...*sigh* I have been waiting to hear your story. Whatever you thought you knew about this confident, sexy, dirty talking bad ass alpha male...let me tell you, you are dead wrong. The only thing I was spot on with was the fact that he is loyal to the end. But if you have read this series, you already know this.

So cocky and confident on the outside and so......not....on the inside. I loved every minute of reading this story. Watching his defenses break down. Watching him do a complete 180 emotionally. Worth every single page. I have to admit, I'm going to miss that dirty talking sexy of a man but I am so glad that he got the happily ever after that he so deserved.

This was exactly what I was expecting in the continuation of this series. To fall in love with yet another one of Xavier Neal's stories and characters. She gave you more of one and still let you enjoy all the others that you have become attached to.

Glove is most definitely a 5 star read for me ~ Review by Stacey

Devastate (Havoc series book 5)

By the time you reach book 5 in a series, particularly an Xavier Neal series you are so completely sc#ewed...in a good way of course. You are completely addicted to the characters. By book 5 you feel like they are real people and, if you are lucky, you might run in to them on the street and say “HI!” or cut a bi*ch for messing with them.

We finally get to hear from Lordy, which was a big change from just coming off Glove's story. He is the quietest of the bunch. The most sensitive in my opinion. The one that hides a lot of who he is.

Learning his story broke my heart...plain and simple. The emotional mess that Lordy has been put in to was heartbreaking.
This was an absolute page turner and the nervousness did not stop until the absolute last word of the book.
I don't suggest reading this as a standalone because then you would miss out on so much. Read this as book 5 in an amazing series that will leave you once again sad to see yet another series by this amazing author come to an end.

You will get all the normal Xavier Neal feels and in the end no that this author gave you everything she had, heart and soul ~ Definite 5 STARS ~ Review by Stacey
