You will fall in love with Jonah! I pulled an all nighter and read it straight through!
There is so much emotion in this story. Instantly fell in love with Jonah and Raven as well as met so many more characters that I hope to learn more about!
This is first fighter romance novel for me and I am happy to say, I believe I have found my favorite genre!
JB Salsbury did an amazing job, this is a must read 5 STARS ~ Review by Stacey
Fighting to Forgive (Fighting Series book 2)
This is the second book in this series and it does not disappoint!! You will fall in love with Blake.
Who doesn't love a bad boy with a heart of gold. Be prepared to read this book in one sitting because you will not want to put it down.
Layla...your are one tough woman and I loved seeing you get what you deserve in the end. You deserve it woman!
There is a bit of touchy subject matter, but it's something that really does happen. You will find yourself cheering out loud for Layla!
JB Salsbury did an amazing job at bringing these characters to life.
Excellent series...can not wait for the next one ~ 5 STARS ~ Review by Stacey
Fighting to Forget (Fighting Series book 3)
To say that I was excited to read Fighting to Forget would be an understatement.
I was first introduced to her series about 6 months ago when I purchased Fighting for Flight. I had never read a fighting book before and I thought “What the heck.” I immediately fell in love with Jonah and had also realized I found my new favorite kind of romance novel….fighters.
I bought the 2nd book in the series without hesitation and fell hard for Blake. After that I thought, “Nope, she can’t top my Blake…no way…no how.” Well Jamie….you did.

I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so with that being said…We were introduced to Rex in book 2 but didn’t have any kind of back story on him so I thought he was just another extremely sexy UFC fighter/Rock star (I know ladies, it doesn’t get much hotter than that). Little did I know Rex was going to grab a piece of my heart and tear it to shreds. By the end of the epilogue I wanted to take that boy in my arms and do whatever it took to make everything okay.
Throughout the book, it seemed like that poor guy would take one step forward and two steps back. I found myself vocally cheering him on saying, “You Can Do It!” (Looking around making sure no one was listening) You fall head over heels with each one of her characters and notice yourself becoming quite protective of each of them.
If you have read her books, you know that she dabbles in some serious, real life situations and this book is no different. Jamie has a way of taking tragedy and turning it into something beautiful, all while throwing just enough panty dropping sex in to keep you begging for more.
I give this book a very confident 5 stars, would give more if I could. There was a lot of laughing, crying, gasping, yelling and in the end smiling.
Jamie Salsbury, you are an incredible author and I look forward to your future novels. ~ 5 Stars ~ Review by Stacey

Fighting the Fall (Fighting Series book 4)
I am at a total loss for words right now. I just want you to know that there is no way this review will be able to do Fighting the Fall justice. If you are looking for a review with a reworded synopsis, stop reading now. If you are looking for gut-wrenching, emotional, first reactions to what I will say is the best book of 2014, here you go.
You know it’s special when you read a book...not just any book...but that one book that grabs a hold of your heart, and takes you on the most beautiful journey. A book that, from here on out, you will compare all others to. A book that sets the standard. A book that will from now on set the bar for me the reader, as well as for the author. This book was all that for me.
I would like to think I have been with Jamie since pretty close to the beginning. I remember the first time I laid eyes on Fighting for Flight, I said to myself, "Cool Cover...fighter romance...never read one before...why not?" Little did I know that my life was about to change.
Many months, and four books later, I am sitting here trying to figure out how to put into words how I feel about Fighting the Fall. I am proud to say I am a part of a fantastic blog and one of my perks is getting to read a lot. I have put up many five star reviews and enjoyed so many books. With that being said, I feel like I know when, in my gut, an author has made an impact on me that will change me forever.
I have loved every single book in this series. I feel like I know all of these characters and have taken these journeys – some pretty rocky –with them. JB Salsbury draws you in and makes you feel like these people really do exist, like you are along for their ride. A good writer hopes for that...a brilliant writer achieves that.
This book will make you experience every emotion you have and some you didn't even know existed. You will laugh, you will cry. You will be scared to death to turn the page for two reasons. One, you are afraid of what is going to happen; and two, you don't want it to end. The epilogue alone will f*ck you up.
We met Eve in book one and finally hearing her story was exciting. She was always the happy, crazy, life-of-the-party girl, so hearing how insecure she was really shocked me.
“Booty calls, one-night-stands with the occasional meal, it's more than what I'm used to, and if I can get the occasional night in his arms while he sleeps, it'll all be worth the eventual meat grinder I'll be putting my heart through.”
Cameron...*sigh*.... Are you ladies ready for your next book boyfriend?
"You give it to me the way I like, listen when I need you to listen, but fight me when I need you to fight me. And I f*ckin' love it when you fight me, babe. I'm thinking I'd like to get in there while you're pissed at me. Watch you come unglued while I'm buried deep."
The camaraderie between these two is so fun to experience.
Her eyes slide closed. "Damn."
"You want that too."
"I do."
"Spend the night with me, Eve. I'll pick a fight with you in the morning."
I don't want to give away too much. I just have three simple words: BUY. THE. BOOK... In fact, BUY THE WHOLE MOTHER FREAKING SERIES. You won't regret it. I promise. JB, congrats on an amazing book. You set the bar so high this time, screw being nervous about what the readers think of this book...I would worry about how you are going top it in the next one.
Could I give this book five stars? Yes, I could. I know that's the norm. But guess what?

A Father's Fight (Fighting Series book 5)
I just can't get enough of these Vegas fighter boys. I think JB needs to have open enrollment day down at the UFL Training Center. Bring in some more dirty talking talent so this series keeps going and going and going.
Blake, where do I begin. I think he finally grows up in this book. We don't get as much “dirty mouth” Blake as we do “protector and soon to be father” Blake. Case n point...the doctor visit....
Dr. Cole looks amused by Blake's outburst, which I know will only piss Blake off more. “I've been studying obstetrics and gynecology for over -”
“Yeah? Me too, but I didn't get a fancy degree. You go to school for what? Ten years to study pussy...as a dude? Yeah...no. You're not getting your fingers or eyes anywhere near my woman.”
And then we finally get to the labor and delivery room which is what most of JB's readers wanted to witness. There was nothing better than watching Blake become a father.
“God, Mouse...” His voice cracks, and I catch sight of a single tear as it falls down his cheek. He makes no attempt to wipe it away, wearing the love for his _________ like a badge of honor.
No way am I giving you that spoiler......
A Father's Flight flight was funny, (we are talking about Blake here), emotional and left me with more questions than answers which is a good thing because that means I will get my answers in the books to come. Thank you JB for giving us a little more of Blake.
I give this book a not surprising 5 stars ~ Review by Stacey
Fighting for Forever (Fighting Series book 6)
Book six and I am still just as excited as I was when I started book one. By the time you make it this far in a series, especially one where the author keeps you aware and up to date on all of your favorite characters, you truly feel that they exist. Like, if I put UFL Training Center, Las Vegas, Nevada into my GPS, in a little over 12 hours I would be hanging out with the hottest boys inside the octogan.
I love how each book focuses on one fighter but you get to hear from all of them. As they grow, mature (well some of them, sorry Blake) and create families we are right there along for the ride. The ride....this has been one hell of an adventure. And it's not over yet.
I have grown to love every one of these fighter boys as well as their significant others and precious little ones. JB, for the record, I'm never letting you stop this series. I totally see a continuation...Fighting for the Future the newest generation, 20 years later. Whatever it takes, to keep these amazing stories going.
Jonah, Blake, Rex, Cameron and now the newest member to join our tight little circle, Mason.
Mason, the youngest of the bunch, seems to me like the most emotional. They all have demons to overcome but our Mason seems like a tortured soul and that makes us fighting girls very protective of him. He has had so much heartbreak in his life, you find yourself being extremely cautious and mother hen like to anyone who attempts to get close to him.
He seemed to play the tough guy role pretty well, but as the story went on we started to see just how sensitive and vulnerable he really is.
“Love you too, baby.” Even though loving her is probably going to kill me.
Trix...does she pass the test. Absolutely. She is one bad*ss chick. I fell in love with her from the very beginning and knew she would make an excellent addition to this group.
I tell myself that my body is my superpower. My sexuality works like kryptonite, weakening men and making them pliable.
FIGHTING SIX! By this time, I don't have to sell you on this book. I don't have to throw out big or dirty words. By this time, you already love this author, this series, and these boys.
This story is just what we expect from this amazing author. Perfection ~ 6 Stars ~ Review by Stacey
