Worth the Fall (McKinney Brothers series book 1) by Claudia Connor
I just want to start off by saying that this book took me to a whole new level in Romance novels.
So many readers will be able to identify with this book... A mother with a troubled past trying not to make the same mistakes her parents did; a neglected wife trying to keep her family together; a woman who just wants to feel the security of someone; the single mother who so desperately wants to find someone who realizes blood isn't the only thing that makes a family. And lastly, the military moms, girlfriends, wives, sisters and brothers who may or may not get their happily ever after.
I laughed, I cried, I had those "what the hell" moments and then in the end I cried some more. Claudia Conner, this is an amazing start to what I know will be an amazing series. I can't wait for the next one!

Worth The Risk by Claudia Connor
This is what happens when the Hallmark Channel meets Cinemax after Dark.
You get a mixture of innocently sweet and panties on fire dirty.
No matter which romance genre you desire, this book pretty much covers it.
Hannah sums it up pretty well...
'She glanced over. Lord, he was hot on a horse. Cowboy. Playboy. Warrior. CEO. Master of his domain. She could only shake her head.'
Stephen (sigh). I tell you those McKinney brothers...what a gene pool. I fell in love with Matt in book 1 and fell for Stephen just as fast and equally as hard. I loved watching him go from playboy to loverboy. Wearing a suit and driving a sports car to trading in his dress shoes for cowboy boots as he hopped out of his big black truck. The author gives you such intricate detail that it's impossible not to drool over him.
FYI-motorcycle scene is H.O.T.
Is this book “Worth The Risk”? Absolutely! I read this book in one sitting. It can be read as a standalone but these McKinney brothers are HOT so why not just enjoy them both!
Claudia Connor is an amazing writer and I promise you this book will not disappoint. 5 Stars!
