So, anyone who knows me knows I love fighter romance. Can I just say that when I read the first sentence in this book, I knew I was going to like it.

'There are two smells in the world I love more than any others: a woman right before sex and this warehouse right before a fight. They're different, of course.

But both are thrilling and unpredictable and make me want to explode.'

I mean, hell yes! I knew this was going to be a win win for me.

Any time you combine underground fighters and hot alpha males you know it's going to be good.

Ryder is all of the above. Former fighter now runs the operation.

As far as women go, he has been burned in the past and has a new way of thinking.

'Women. They smell good, they look good, they taste good, but they can be so bad for you. My motto is get in and get out, in all ways possible.'

He is absolutely not a player though. He knows he is god's gift to women but believe it or not doesn't seem to use it to his advantage, like we see in so many stories today. Don't get me wrong though, he is still a sweet/dirty talker. No one knows this better than Cassie...

“And what do you want right now?”

“You,” he says. “To shut.” His lips skim down my neck, across my collarbone.

“The f*ck up.”

“Such language,” I say. “You kiss your mother with that mouth?”

He raises his face to mine. “I kiss everything with this mouth.”

Over, all this was a great story of love, lies and the lengths taken to protect.

The only reason I am giving this 4 ½ stars and not 5 is because I wanted more dialogue.

Everyone has their favorite authors. Those select few that require no research...no friend referrals, and no mouth watering teasers in order for you to immediately one click. For me, Bella Jewel is one of those authors. I love her writing style. Her words and flow of her story lines completely suck me in from the very beginning.

For any of you that follow my reviews, you already know that this author popped my MC cherry and thank god for that because I have loved every minute of being with this Jokers Wrath motorcycle club.

What more can I say about this series except for wow. . . just wow. You gave me my first MC crush with Krypt and then you continued my love for these guys with Maddox and Mac. Just when I think you can't top perfection, you bring us the love between Tyke and Pip.

Both of these two had me using the sleeve of my shirt as a snot catcher before I was even twenty percent in.

But, before I get to them can I just say YOU ARE GUTTING ME MRS. JEWEL!

ONE WORD. . . RAINER! HOLY HELL WOMAN!

When I read about Pippa's past, and was introduced to Rainer, the more I wanted to reach through this kindle, grab him, pull him out of there and keep him! You think this story evolves around Tyke and Pip, but Rainer will completely consume you and you find yourself gasping every time you get to a new chapter and it's entitled PAST.

He smiles. “I came to talk to you about your friend, Rainer,”

My heart stops beating, Oh God, if this is bad news I honestly don't know if I can handle it.

Now at that point, I wasn't sure if Maddox was talking to Pippa or me because I had the same reaction she did.

The more I read, the more I couldn't decide who owns my heart more. . . Rainer or Tyke.

Tyke. . . this 'handsome and slightly broken biker' has also completely stole my heart. Yep, no longer mine, this man owns me. I just hope Pippa is willing to share.

I love a story that, instead of you reaching a climax at the end, keeps you hanging on by a thread the entire book. I have been engrossed in this story from the first page. It's one of those kind of stories that you don't actually feel yourself take a full deep breath in until you read the last line.

I have loved this entire series. For me, I felt like this one was the most emotionally driven. You can't decide 1) Who you love more and 2) Who you want to win the girl.

We are also introduced to a few more characters that I am dying to more about new. I love new characters, because that means. . . MORE BOOKS!

Overall, this story was amazing. It was everything that I was expecting from Bella Jewel. She never disappoints. She gives you absolute perfection on paper.

Holding on tight against my chest, I fight through the pain as the heated flames burn. Reaching the stairwell, I jet up the stairs keeping balance as the building continues to tremble. Jumping for
the top of the stairs, I land on the platform. The boy cries out as fear exudes from his face. Panic swarms my thoughts but I push them out. We are going to make it.

A loud explosion bellows from beneath us and a fiery blast erupts. The blast blows me off balance sending me straight into the wall. The boy slips from my grasp as I fly through the air slamming into the wall. The impact knocks the wind out of me as the dizziness clogs my head. Debris from the sixth floor crumbles onto the stairwell as the bannister starts to break away from its hold. I search for the boy, noticing him on the ground unconscious, still wrapped in my jacket.

Coughing profusely I hoist him back in my arms, sealing the mask back on his face. The SCBA beeps again, notifying the three-minute mark. Scanning for the hall window, a sliver of moonlight
illuminates the hallway.

Hosting us off the ground, one arm holds the boy, while my other grabs hold of the radio. With a raspy voice, “Almost there Cap.”

“The ladder is waiting for you guys. Step on it!”

With careful steps, I make way to the window. In an instant, the building rumbles around us. Flames from inside the apartment
melt the walls and bursts into the hallway. The boy yells out as I tighten my grip around him.

Large amounts of debris falls behind us and crashes into the ground, creating gaping holes in the floor. Violent tremors shake the wooden frames as I struggle to keep balance. A shining light
blinds through the hall window as it blasts open with Carter peeking inside, “Roman!”

The sound of the cracking floor creeps around me and I look down to see it’s completely tearing apart. My heart beat stops as I lay eyes on the child and then Carter. In a split, I rip the mask off the boy and hoist him up, readying to toss him into Carter’s arms.

As the ground starts to disappear from underneath me, I use all my strength to hurl the boy, tossing him into Carter’s grasp. A smile curves along my lips as Carter catches him. And with the sight of the boy safe, the floor gives way and crumbles beneath me.

The roaring plea of Carter’s voice is the last sound I hear as I fall into oblivion.

My vision is partly obstructed by Ali, but the sight
of her head bobbing as she takes him in her mouth is all I need to know what’s going on. Levi meets my gaze across the limo. There’s gloating there—that much is obvious—but there’s also understanding. When you spend as much time together as we do, you come to know your bandmates pretty well. For all his talk, he’s not as big of a douche as he claims to be.
