Title: Fighting for Forever
Series: Fighting #6
Author: JB Salsbury
Release Date: June 23, 2015
Blurb
Slut. Hooker. Whore.
The taunts never bothered me. They only see what I allow them to see, and a Las Vegas stripper is the perfect cover.
My life had direction. I had a mission—until the man I needed vanished and is presumed dead.
It’s time to move on—give up the dream for revenge—and no one shows me that more than the mop-headed fighter with eyes the color of the ocean.
If anyone can teach me just how sweet life can be, it’s him. But first, I’d have to let go.
Mase. Baywatch. Mayhem.
I’m known by many names, but there’s only one that stirs panic and worry in my gut every time I’m called it.
Brother.
I’ve bailed him out of trouble for years, so when he turns up in Vegas and asks for me, I’m prepared for the worst. And the worst is exactly what I get in the form of a lilac-eyed beauty named Trix.
She’s everything I hate about Vegas: a stripper, loose with her body and her morals. But there’s something about her, a complexity that she buries deep, and I’m determined to uncover it.
The deeper I go, the less I understand. When I finally learn the truth, we engage in a battle where life and death hang in the balance. Fighting could kill us both, but if we win, forever is the prize.
Book six and I am still just as excited
as I was when I started book one. By the time you make it this far
in a series, especially one where the author keeps you aware and up
to date on all of your favorite characters, you truly feel that they
exist. Like, if I put UFL Training Center, Las Vegas, Nevada into my
GPS, in a little over 12 hours I would be hanging out with the
hottest boys in the UFL.
I love how each book focuses on one
fighter but you get to hear from all of them. As they grow, mature
(well some of them, sorry Blake) and create families we are right
there along for the ride. The ride....this has been one hell of an
adventure. And it's not over yet.
I have grown to love every one of these
fighter boys as well as their significant others and precious little
ones. JB, for the record, I'm never letting you stop this series. I
totally see a continuation...Fighting for the Future the newest
generation, 20 years later. Whatever it takes, to keep these amazing
stories going.
Jonah, Blake, Rex, Cameron and now the
newest member to join our tight little circle, Mason.
Mason, the youngest of the bunch, seems
to me like the most emotional. They all have demons to overcome but
our Mason seems like a tortured soul and that makes us fighting girls
very protective of him. He has had so much heartbreak in his life,
you find yourself being extremely cautious and mother hen like to
anyone who attempts to get close to him.
He seemed to play the tough guy role
pretty well, but as the story went on we started to see just how
sensitive and vulnerable he really is.
“Love you too, baby.” Even
though loving her is probably going to kill me.
Trix...does she pass the test.
Absolutely. She is one bad*ss chick. I fell in love with her from
the very beginning and knew she would make an excellent addition to
this group.
I tell myself that my body is my
superpower. My sexuality works like kryptonite, weakening men and
making them pliable.
FIGHTING SIX! By this time, I don't
have to sell you on this book. I don't have to throw out big or
dirty words. By this time, you already love this author, this
series, and these boys. This story is just what we expect from this
amazing author. Perfection.
